Based on several years of work in e-Business architecture and design, Jarus SOA framework is a collection
of key software components, best practices and how-to guides that accelerate and simplify SOA enablement.
As large corporations attempt to convert their core functionality into reusable business services that can be invoked enterprise wide, they are faced with a number of
challenges in architecting and implementing highly performing and flexible business services.
The goal of every SOA initiative is to provide a common set of reusable business services that can be accessed enterprise wide and throughout the value chain including
customers and partners. To implement the business services, corporations need a set of shared services for enforcing security, configuration management, an enterprise wide
common business object model (BOM), mapping all backend data sources to this common business object model, wrapping the transactions of backend applications and databases
so they can be accessed from the business service implementations.
Jarus SOA framework supplies the necessary building blocks (shared system services and tools) that are needed to accelerate implementation of the business services and reduce
the risk of failure (see Figure below)
